REEL Paddling Film Festival
Gday Everyone!
The days are getting longer, the mercury is starting to hop above zero and I'm starting to feel the paddling itch. Luckily for those of us who are beginning to get stoked for the season soon is the Annual Reel Paddling Film Fest at Mount Royal University's Leacock Theatre on March the 16th!
Doors open at 7:00pm and whether you are into Kayak touring, Canoeing or whitewater there will be something to get the blood flowing and take your mind to a far away land where the rivers are endless and the paddling is plentiful. Tickets are $12 for Students, $15 pre-sales from Aquabatics (#300 8435 Bowfort Rd. NW) or $18 dollars at the door. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased from the shop or over phone and email 403 288 9283 or paddler@aquabatics.com. Tickets for the film festival are now available and tickets for the theatre are coming soon, All proceeds go towards the MRU Eco Tourism program and the Paddle Junkies Kayak Club.
Enjoy the skiing and snowboarding while you can folks cause the paddling season isn't as far away as you might think!!
