Rendezvous ’10 will be a festival for paddlers, hosted just outside of Lac la Biche, Alberta the weekend of June 4, 5 & 6, 2010. On these pages find out about the many educational, touring and social programs that will be offered over this weekend.
Rendezvous ’10 will provide opportunities:
- to improve your paddling (canoeing, kayaking & BIG canoeing),
- to explore the paddling available in Alberta’s Lakeland region,
- to improve your safety, camp, tripping and “Leave No Trace” skills,
- to learn more about the birdlife in the region,
- to improve you photography skills,
- for some great social opportunities through our hosted meals (two breakfasts and a Saturday steak barbecue supper), and
- to explore new gear at our evening trade show and equipment demo’s and trials.
Rendezvous ’10 is a volunteer “driven” operation and if you would be interested in volunteering as an instructor, trip leader, or camp support person please drop a note to marklund@shaw.ca.
On behalf of Paddle Alberta, our sponsors and many volunteers we look forward to your participation in Rendezvous ’10.
